Hogan's Texican-Chorizo, Chili Dip

(Serves 8 Appetizer Portions)

You Need:

- 1.5 LB Lean Ground Beef
- .5 lb Chorizo
- 1 Large Yellow Onion, Chopped
- 1 Large Green Pepper, Chopped
- 12 OZ. Beer
- 1 Large Can Tomato Puree
- 8 OZ. White American cheese
- 2 TBSP. Grindstone Roasted Texican Blend
Plus: Chopped Onion, Cheddar Cheese, Green Onion, Pickled Jalapeño, Corn Chips for Garnish & Dipping.

You Do:

Brown ground beef over medium high heat. Drain and set aside. Discard fat. Brown chorizo over medium high heat. Add onion and peppers and cook until soft. Add beer and stir to deglaze pan. Add ground beef and simmer 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and Texican Blend. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Add white American cheese and mix well to melt. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Place in serving dish and garnish with chopped onion, cheddar cheese, green onion, pickled jalapeño. Serve with corn chips for dipping. Again, show off to your friends. Enjoy!
